UPDATE: Coming Soon To The Meadows - Fiber Optic High Speed Internet and Phone

UPDATE: Installation to residences within The Meadows is scheduled to begin on or about June 9, 2022.

Recently Mountain View Electric partnered with Conexon Connect to install fiber optic cables throughout our neighborhood to enable installation of highspeed internet and telephone services to any household that wishes to connect to their service. You have most likely already seen the orange conduit being laid beneath ground along a pathway similar to the Mountain View electric lines. In fact, several optic fiber junction boxes have also been installed near electrical boxes. In the not-too-distant future we should be seeing the actual cable being threaded through the conduits in preparation for the installation of household connection. All property owners in The Meadows should have also received information regarding how to get signed up for the service at https://www.mvea.coop/broadband/. Welcome to the twenty first century.

Neighborhood sign is "LIT".

The big stone sign at the entrance of The Meadows is now lit with solar powered lights which make the front of the sign visible after dark. This is an enhancement that had been discussed numerous times in the past by members of the HOA and the current Board of Governors approved the purchase and installation of the lights at the last quarterly meeting held on March 8, 2022.
